Success Stories

I met Dr. Maddock almost 13 years ago when my daughter was diagnosed with a moderate to severe sensori-neural hearing loss in both ears. She not only fitted my then 14 month old baby with her first set of hearing aids, but also made herself completely available to myself and my family as we navigated the uncertain path ahead of us. She met with us on Saturday mornings for many weeks to help my daughter adjust in a quiet setting and begin to get comfortable with all the new procedures such as taking ear mold impressions, and responding to sounds in the sound booth. Not an easy task with a baby! The list of things Dr. Maddock has done for our daughter is infinite. She has been patient and kind. She taught all of us what it would take for our daughter to learn to listen and speak and be successful in school. She has been supportive of our choices and she has attended every meeting concerning our daughter every year beginning with preschool. Our daughter is now getting ready to enter the 8th grade. She is a happy, well adjusted teenager who makes straight A+s and loves to read. Dr. Maddock has been there every step of the way. Her dedication to her field and her vast knowledge of audiology have changed teh life or our daughterand opened up her future to all possibilities. There are simply no words to express our gratitude.
