Dr. Mary Maddock Au.D.
Dr. Maddock has 28 years experience working with individuals who experience hearing loss. She has helped children and adults overcome simple and complex types of hearing problems.
She has comprehensive experience with adults in the areas of diagnostic testing for hearing and balance disorders as well as hearing aid fittings and aural rehabilitation services that includes lipreading lessons and aural rehabilitation services.
Dr. Maddock has extensive pediatric experience ranging from newborn screenings, pediatric evaluations, school based educational services, hearing aid/FM fittings and aural habilitation therapy with deaf and hard of hearing children.
Dr. Maddock has access to the most recent hearing aid technology. She understands that every individual she sees has a unique set of circumstances and she will assist them in finding the best solution for their lifestyle and their budget.
Dr. Maddock received her Bachelor Degree from Tulsa University in 1978 in Deaf Education. She taught Jr. and Sr. High School hearing impaired children at Edison High School in Tulsa Oklahoma until 1981 and taught lipreading for the Tulsa Speech and Hearing Adult Program. She then attended The University of Texas at Austin, graduating with her Masters of Arts degree in 1983 in Audiology. For twenty two years she worked in ENT, hospital, assisted living facilities and schools providing services in the areas of hearing testing, hearing aid fittings, balance testing, infant screenings, assistive device selections and aural rehabilitation therapy. Dr. Maddock was the first Doctor of Audiology in Wilmington after graduating in 2000 from the University of Florida.
Dr. Maddock moved to Wilmington in 1986. She opened her private practice in 2005 after serving Wilmington’s hearing impaired at another facility for nineteen years. Dr. Maddock provides audiological and hearing aid services in a professional manner. She believes educating her patients to assist them in making their personal choices in their amplification needs.

Holly Lewis
Holly joined Wilmington Hearing Specialists in January 2007 on a full time basis. She handles the day to day operations in making appointments, filing insurance, as well as designing our brochures and office forms.
Lynn Krupey
Lynn has been with Wilmington Hearing Specialists since September 2005. She works part time. She files insurance and works closely with insurance companies to assure that your benefits are met.
