Meet the Doctors:
Liesl Looney, Au.D., CCC-A, is a certified licensed audiologist. She received a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Audiology and a Master of Science in Audiology, both from West Virginia University in 1995 and 1998, respectively. She later received her doctorate of audiology from Salus University in 2007. She currently holds a certificate of clinical competence in audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed by the state of North Carolina. Dr. Looney has a wealth of experience obtained over 23 years of practice in both pediatric and adult populations. Her area of specialization is hearing aids and cochlear implants.
Dr. Chelsea Lewis has been serving the needs of the hearing impaired in North Carolina since 2012. She has extensive experience with adult and pediatric hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings and services, balance assessment, and cochlear implant fittings and services.
Dr. Lewis was born and raised in Charleston, WV. She followed in her family's footsteps when she attended West Virginia University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology as well as her Doctorate of Audiology. She completed her externship in the ENT setting in Charlotte, NC, and continued to gain experience at that practice for the next 5 years. She moved to the Wilmington area in 2018 to fulfill her dream of living at the beach. When she is not helping people improve their lives through better hearing, she is busy enjoying the outdoors, cooking, and rooting on her favorite sports teams.
Linda schedules patients and files insurance claims for diagnostic services that have been provided at Wilmington Hearing Specialists. Linda has worked in the administrative area for medical and non-medical offices for over 30 years. She was raised in Wilmington and enjoys spending time with her husband Mike and son Zach Greer.
